During the month of October 2021, I was commissioned by Penguin Book to document a few black owned independent bookshops that they were bringing spotlight to over black history month. The shops involved were Roundtable Books in Brixton, Sevenoaks Bookshop in Kent and Afrori Books in Brighton. Featured in these photographs are the owners and booksellers of each bookshop.
